Doubling of the GST credit
Under this plan, the federal government would double the last two payments of the existing GST credit for 2022 for those who were already eligible. If you were eligible for the GST credit, you have already received these additional amounts.
Single Canadians without children would receive up to an extra $234 and couples with two children would receive up to an extra $467 this year.
Seniors would receive an extra $225 on average.
Canada Dental Benefit
The Canada Dental Benefit is a new measure that would provide uninsured eligible parents with upfront, tax-free payments to cover dental expenses for their children under 12 years old.

Canada Housing Benefit
The Canada Housing Benefit is a one-time top-up that consists of a tax-free payment of $500 to provide direct support to low-income renters.
To be eligible, you must meet all the following criteria:
